THE RELIQUARY PROJECT
DETAILS OF THE PROJECT ARE RELEASED TO THE PUBLICEAM releases details on the Reliquary of Souls project. EAM starts to work on the Reliquary of Souls project in 2150, where human consciousness can be transferred into artificially grown hosts (or into a digital form), virtually granting them immortality. First human consciousness transfer tests took place in 2155 and were performed throughout the decade. Some are a total failure, resulting in destruction of the volunteers' consciousness, but a few are a success. Up until late 2160's EAM continues to perfect the technology. On 6th of February 2175 EAM finally releases details on the project to the wide public.
